Zevenwacht Wines

Zevenwacht Wine Overview

The Zevenwacht Wine Estate offers more white grape production compared to red grape production which is unusual for the greater Stellenbosch area. The Zevenwacht Estate is however well located along the western periphery with cooler sea breezes better suited for white grape production compared to the warmer traditional Stellenbosch areas. Characterized by good quality, varied soils, the vineyards have been selectively planted with red and white noble varietals.

Production takes place at the farm's the on-site cellar which has a 1000-ton capacity.

Yields have been stable over the past 5 years and is in line with market norms for the area.

Wine quality is deemed exceptional which is evident in the fact that the produce is

recognized locally and internationally.

The farm offers a total of 76.37 ha of grapes with the adjacent Die Eike Estate offering

a further 10.10ha, whilst grapes supplied  from neighbouring Zevenrivieren are also

purchased and produced in the cellar.
