Zevenwacht Wine Estate is located along the western periphery of the Stellenbosch Wine Route and along the eastern urban boundary of Kuilsriver. It occupies 223ha of sought- after agricultural land in a traditional wine producing area. The estate is conveniently located within 20km of the Cape Town International Airport and Stellenbosch and within 40km of the Cape Town CBD and harbour, which serves as primary means of export. Surrounding townships also worth of mentioning include Kuilsriver, Brackenfell, Bellville and Durbanville, whilst various prestigious wine farms such as De Toren, Reynecke, Kaapzicht, Jordan and
De Morgenzon are also located in the surrounding vicinity.
The nose shows concentrated aromas of nettles,
crushed fig and passion fruit, with hints of grapefruit
that continues on to the palate.

Cellar
(4324m²)
The Cellar boasts a 1000-ton capacity fully equipped production line, which is seen as adequate for production of the local produce also allowing for additional purchases of wine grapes.
A three-level building constructed over split level that is used as a wine cellar and wine tasting facility
There are two upper floors where production takes place also equipped with stainless steel tanks and office layout. There is a basement receiving area and wine vats and wine barrel storage areas on the middle and upper levels along with the reception and wine tasting area to the middle level.
It further offers a bottling and labelling plant making use of a gravitational feeding system.
Cheesery / Workshop and Kitchen

A single building comprising of three sections.
It comprises of a cheese factory building, with an attached gourmet demonstration kitchen and an attached workshop.

Workshop

Traditional workshop/storeroom space equipped for the
2 full time mechanics to repair and maintain all farm
vehicles and machinery.

Shed
(490m²)
Conventional style farm shed.

Staff Cottages and Creche
(1591m²)
Basic staff accommodation, with kitchens and bathrooms. The crèche offers a large hall area with ablution facilities and a front verandah.

Offices
(784m²)
Conventional double storey office accommodation,
which offers a functional layout.

Overall Internal Infrastructure
Internal Infrastructure comprises of tarred roads connecting buildings and sufficient paved parking areas, whilst the entrance to the farm is protected by
a guard with guard room present at the main gate.

The following buildings provide accommodation for key personnel that reside on the estate.

Spacious, traditional structure comprising of plastered brick walls and steel sheet roof that includes verandah and garages.

House 2
(290m²)
Assistant Winemaker's House
Spacious, conventional dwelling, with plastered brick walls and a steel sheet roof. It also offers two detached garage buildings, one with a garage and store and other with a triple garage.

House 3
(318m²)
Winemaker's House
Conventional dwelling with an attached double garage, with plastered brick walls and a steel sheet roof.
